Fall in the Carolinas!
Pumpkins, apples, and leaves, oh my!
Elevate loves fall in the Carolinas, and this year,
we wanted to give you our favorite Fall activity suggestions.
As we all know, 2020 can often be paired with changes in tradition
and the norm that we are all familiar with.
So please check with each of our suggestions below prior to making plans to visit,
as many have changed procedures, dates and times they're open,
and many also require a reservation.

Apples:
- Windy Hill: Apple picking, apple cider donuts, apple cider, hard cider. Basically, all things apple. York, SC.
- Stepp's Hillcrest Orchard in Hendersonville, NC.
- Sky Top Orchard in Flat Rock, NC
- Apple Hill Orchard in Morganton, NC
Drive-In Movies:
- Charlotte Motor Speedway
- Bella Love Inc. and Old Town Cornelius host a drive-in at the LKN YMCA! Food delivery from Cool Fish in Cornelius and they have Halloween movies in October!
- Hounds Drive-In These Kings Mountain folks have have their drive-in operation down to a science!
- Badin Road Drive-In
- Flicks at the Field only a few dates remain!
Pumpkins:
- Patterson Farms a little bit further from the LKN area than our suggestion below, but tons of fun activities other than pumpkin picking!
- Carrigan Farms a little closer to the LKN area
- Wise Acres Pizza, pumpkins, and family fun. Need we say more?
Local Fall and Pumpkin Beer:
- NODA Great outdoor spots for hanging out!
- Catawba Brewing Co.
- Royal Bliss Brewery in Denver, NC
Wine:
- Piccione Vineyards go here for the views and the wine, and then pop next door to Raffaldini Vineyards & Winery for more views and wine!
- Overmountain Vineyards When you want to feel far away without going too far. Stop at the Tryon International Equestrian Center for tons of food options!
- Veronet Vineyards & Winery Beautiful views and tons of outdoor space!
Family Friendly Activities:
- Amazing Maize Maze
- Great Elizabeth Pumpkin Wall Check the community page for procedures and this year's dates!
- The Pumpkin Patch at Truist Field For those that are still sad that we didn't have an Elevate baseball event this year!
- Hike at Linville Falls Two hours outside of Charlotte
Adult Time When You Just Need A Patio To Sit On To Enjoy That Fall Weather:
- Charlotte Beer Garden The largest selection of beers on tap
- Dilworth Tasting Room Wine, tapas, and a cute hidden patio!
- The Goodyear House Farm to table comfort food
- El Thrifty A Mexican restaurant with games and located in awesome Optimist Hall!
- Olde Meck Brewery You can't beat this outdoor beer garden area!
- The Suffolk Punch Right on the rail trail in South End, full food and drink menu
